Staff Surveillance

Acting on behalf of a manufacturing company, we were instructed to undertake surveillance on a member of staff who had been off work with leg and back pain following a minor accident at work.
We undertook three days surveillance. The first day we followed the person walking around a city centre and they appeared to have no issue regarding movement. The second day we followed the subject to a prearranged meeting at the Companies doctors. The subject was seen using walking sticks and was aided by their partner. They were then driven to the doctors and in both getting into the surgery and coming out struggled with both walking and also accessing the car. Our third day once again found the subject walking freely and also driving a car. We were able to provide video footage to support the evidence.

The member of staff was called into the client for a meeting and given the opportunity to respond to our findings. He subsequently resigned saving our client a considerable sum in redundancy pay.
